Reconnect with your classmates and celebrate East High School's rich history through memorable reunion experiences.
Reunions are a wonderful way to reconnect with East High School and your fellow alumni. The East Alumni Association will assist in working to coordinate tours of East as well as getting information out to classmates who have registered in the alumni database. For helpful tips, please see the steps for planning your East High reunion below, and feel free to contact us for assistance.
Hosting a reunion? Treat your classmates to a tour of East High School’s Heritage Hall, Tower Museum, and school grounds. The Tower Museum showcases the complete history of East High School, including photographs of the original downtown Denver structure, sports history, memorabilia spanning the 1800s to today, and all editions of the annual yearbook and alumni newsletter (The Spotlight). Steps for planning your East High reunion
Step 1
Choose a date
Select a Saturday in June, August, or September. (Note: Sunday dates are not permitted.)
Step 2
Follow school policies
Alcohol is strictly prohibited on school grounds. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas and must comply with school regulations.
Step 3
Apply for a permit
Contact the DPS Community Use Department at 720-423-4202 to request an application. Complete the application and return it to DPS along with the required fee. Approval typically takes about two weeks.
Step 4
Obtain insurance
The Community Use Department will provide details for securing a $1 million insurance policy, which is required for all groups.
Step 5
Register your reunion
Contact Beth Gower at mbgower@gmail.com or Dick Nelson at dick_n_jan@yahoo.com to register your event with the Alumni Relations Committee. Registration ensures committee members will be available to assist with your event and conduct tours of East High's historic features.
